Altar Servers

We are happy that the parish such wonderful and dedicated altar servers. It is a very important role. Serving well helps everyone to celebrate Mass better. While the obvious purpose of this ministry is to assist the celebrant, the spiritual purpose draws young people to a closer, more intimate relationship with Jesus because of their involvement in the liturgy.
The particular duties of altar servers include the special duties of cross-bearer, censer bearer and candle-bearers. Altar servers also bear the bread, wine, water and the thurible.
As a Server you have a special ministry in the Church.

The Role of the Altar Server is to assist the priest at the Mass.
This is open to any youth from 3 rd grade.
