Baptismal Preparation
A meeting is held by the Priests and Deacons to prepare the parents, and godparents prior to the actual administering of the Sacrament of Baptism. An information package is sent out prior to this meeting for their review. Then the parents and godparents attend a Baptismal Preparation meeting where their responsibilities are reviewed. The preparation meeting also includes the viewing of a video explaining the various parts of the Baptismal ceremony. Parents and godparents are strongly urged to attend the preparation meeting prior to the actual date of the Baptism.

Catechesis
CATECHESIS is the act of teaching and imparting to others the knowledge of the elements of religion, especially for preparation for initiation into Christianity. The Parish of St. Adalbert through the parish Religious Education classes teaches students catechesis from first grade through 8th grade, including the preparation for receiving the Sacraments of Penance, Confirmation and First Holy Communion.

RCIA
Parish program to prepare adults who have joined the Catholic faith and are being prepared to receive the Sacraments of Initiation. If you are interented please call the parish office at 908-352-2791 or send email to office@stadalbert.us.

CYO
A Parish program for young adults usually of high school age who come together to nurture and increase their faith life of the Catholic Community. Members learn to see God’s action in the world and in their lives, to communicate the Good News of God’s love through various projects. They also learn to be good stewards of the human resources of leadership through community volunteering.
